“Fascinating documentary.”

“Fabulous!  It’s a love story about Michael Bennett, about CHORUS LINE, about dancing, about New York and I adored every little step of it.”

“Bravo!”

“A great movie for every talented, gifted performer who dreams to be on Broadway.  A must see for every talented student with a dream.”

“This should have been called EVERY PAINFUL STEP! What a view into the life of dancers and the audition process.  Great job of merging past and present.  The dancers were terrific and the vignettes were priceless.  A must see!”

“Beautiful and moving tribute to those performers who enrich our lives…and the message is if you do something for the love of it, it really shows.”

“Things that come from the heart penetrate the hearts.”

“Sorry I can’t write too much, I’m late for my dance class!  Thanks for this great film.”

“A really good depiction of what a grueling format these actors go through.  You really have to have the stamina to go through that acting for a year.”

“Awesome!”

“What I absolutely, positively hated about this film is: it was not at least two hours longer!  I would have had no problem if there have been an intermission or having part II be screened at the next session: that is how good it was.  Even though this was a documentary, it played like a drama, even a mystery or suspense film.  I was on the edge of my seat in anticipation of who was going to be selected for the roles.  I hope the DVD includes all the stuff we didn’t get to see today.  The beauty of a production like this is it illustrates the genius and talent of a number of arts, dance, music, song and film.  This was a treat, a true gift.  Thank you for selecting and sharing it with us.”

“Very enjoyable film.  All of them were talented.”

“Fabulous!  This was outstanding.  I’m speechless, I loved it.”

“Riveting.”

“Fantastic!”

“What a surprise!  I thought, before seeing this, okay, someone is making some money on the back of ‘CHORUS LINE’ and it will probably be interesting to revisit the music and the dance.  But I didn’t expect to love this as much as I did.  Kaleidoscopes the original story, apparently left out Jimmy Kirkwood, but still quite moving in this next incarnation of A CHORUS LINE.”

“An interesting nostalgic journey.  What torture.  Brought up many emotions watching how the selection process goes on is heartbreaking.  Listening to Hamlisch comment on how certain numbers were adjusted in the show was great.”

“There’s a broken heart for every light on Broadway and we met quite a few of them today… and yet they keep on trying.  Well, here’s to all of the chosen and the non- chosen.  Thanks for all the wonderful memories of great choruses in memorable shows.  God bless them all and I hope they all still like themselves, for as Rachel said, if they didn’t they just wouldn’t survive.  I don’t know how they’re able to choose who gets a part and who doesn’t.  They were all winners!”

“Brought back not only all the times I saw CHORUS LINE but all the years of studying ballet, tap and modern jazz.  It makes me feel – ridiculously - like I still can!”

“Wow!  From the opening shot of the Twin Towers to the closing credits, ‘EVERY LITTLE STEP’ tugged at my heart.  Jason Tam gave an unbelievable performance.  Brilliant editing.  Loved the lady who was the dance instructor.  Superb documentary.”

“Oscar nomination at least.  What a fabulous film!  Outstanding in every category.”

“Interesting to see the behind the scenes part of a show in the making!”

“The film was emotionally enthralling.  Even though the subject was specific, the theme was universal.”

“Loved, loved, loved this documentary.  It was poignant, a dose of reality and will make me appreciate musicals even more.  I was touched by the two sets of friends that had to compete against each other.  And thank goodness I had a hanky handy for ‘Paul’s’ audition.  What a torturous process of the lengthy, lengthy process of auditions!  Wow!”
