“This film will appeal to almost everyone. It is ROCKY and BILLY
ELLIOT rolled into one. It is funny moving and informative. It
will make audiences laugh and cry and think. I hope (and
foresee) it being very successful.”

dream, dealing with disappointment and fear, then moving
forward. Excellent acting, casting. Although I could see where
the ending was going it was an entertaining engaging story. I
really don’t like the violence and aggression promoted by the
WWE.”
“I am a big fan of GLOW on Netflix. So I arrived at this film with
no bias against professional wrestling - a very disciplined and
demanding athletic performance art. And empowering! A
wonderful movie, and even more that it’s a true story. I loved
it! I will see it a second time.”

other female wrestlers who began as clichés turned out to be –
at least in their own way – just people trying to make a living
